Larissa Ione – Demonic/Lords of Deliverance Series

After I read through the first book, I was hooked. When I started reading the first book, I thought it was going to be kind of cheesy because the male character, Eidolon, is a sex demon (incubus) which made me think, “Oh no, just another soft porn book disguised as a paranormal romance.” but I was wrong in my initial assumption. I really found myself loving the characters and the secondary characters along with the world that they live in. The author takes us through her complicated world and makes us believe it.
It is set in an otherworldly hospital run by demons and otherworldly creatures hidden from the human world. The first four books focus on demon brothers who work at the underworld hospital. They fight against different evils leading up to the books that follow the four horsemen of the apocalypse. I thought the series would end there but now we are meeting the angels and other demons that are crucial to the story.

This series seems tame in comparison with Larissa’s Demonica Series/Lords of Deliverance Series but it is a still a good series so far.
