This is a series about modern day vampires. This author keeps it fresh and includes lots of humor in her books. The titles of the books are so cheesy but the books aren’t actually cheesy themselves. There are two groups of vampires, those who live on synthetic blood and those who prey on mortals called the Malcontents. Not only do the good vampires have to worry about the Malcontents, they also have to worry about a secret branch of the CIA called the Stake-Out Team who believe all vampires are evil and need to be staked.
If you want a series that will keep you entertained without being overly serious. This is it. I absolutely adore this series.
